JUNE 11TH MEETING NOTESClosing Prices Today 6-11-08: Gold $880.00 Silver $16.85
1. The meeting started promptly at 7:30 pm. All officers present and accounted for.
2. Tom went took us through the communications he had, including reading a thank you note from Howard Stone's
spouse, Nancy, on our contribution to his New Hampshire High School's scholarship fund. They were to attend
his 50th reunion. Keep him and his family in your prayers.
3. Tom gave out the March door prizes which, if you remember, were drawn but were not available at that time.
Those receiving them were Bob W., Jim, Fred, Mark and Paul..
4. We thought we would try a new service the MSNS is putting out for clubs hosting shows. Our show is
scheduled for Oct. 5th and the MSNS would put on some kind of educational event, like a talk, a slide show, a
display, or other such informative numismatic data. With this in the advertizing, perhaps it will attract more
interest. It certainly can't hurt as there is no cost to us for this service.
5. Lugnut baseball ticket requests were accepted and tickets will be purchased for the 26th of July. We have
about 25 attending the game. We have very good reserved seats. It is a nice place to watch the pitchers and
hitters and the fireworks activities after the game.
6. Terry apologized to the Livingston County Coin Club for our lack of participation in setting up the Spring MSNS
Show. He also told them they did an excellent job. Next time we will do much better.
7. A side note: Can you pick out our Treas/Sec. in these pictures? This is why he wasn't at our May meeting.
Please note the name of the play and the director.
Nice job Tom!
